Got a new Kayak and thought I would take it out and test it a bit more before heading fishign with it.
I bought the yak to enable my family to get on the water together and spend some time together.
Nicole showed some interest so we packed up the family and hit a Bayou close to our home.
Set the yellow explorer up and let Nicole take it out to get used to the feel.
Then put Hunter in the back hatch for our paddle...He paddled this last week, so this is his second trip as a ride along.
They looked happy :D
next I put Shelby in the A hatch on the Maurader. My feet didn't smell too bad or at least she didn't complain.
Once we were all set up we paddled 3.26 miles and had a great time enjoying the wildlife and getting some exercise.
Next will come the bays to get some fish slime on it....But what a great day on the water. Even if the water was a bit cold! Warm on the yak!
